CDE and Carolina Ballet are proud to host several of the ballet audition tours this coming winter. As many of you know, CDE is a big proponent of summer study and these auditions allow are students to expand their training and skills. This is a very important part of our Pre-Professional curriculum and, as always, we strongly encourage everyone to participate. Even if dancers decide not to participate in the Summer study program, the audition process is important to challenge their technique and build self confidence.
Companies and Audition dates are listed below, however we may have additional companies and dates to be added. For more information on these auditions, please feel free to email dance@cdestudios.org or visit the ballet company website (links provided below).

Auditions for the Carolina Ballet's The Nutcracker were held in August and many dancers from CDE participated. The Carolina Ballet performs this spectacular ballet over the Thanksgiving Weekend just in time to kick off the holidays. The Nutcracker features dancers, both pre-professional and professional, from all over the region including the Carolina Ballet Senior, Junior and Apprentice Ensembles, as well as, international guest artist. Registration is now open for the Fall/Spring Sessions. If you were an active student with CDE last year your enrollment package should be in the mail. New students can send an email, phone or visit either location to find out more about class placement and scheduling. We are very excited about our upcoming year and all the opportunities we have available for your children. We hope to see you all on opening day!
If you are unable to register by the first day of classes, CDE does accept registration through out the year. However, please remember that the more time we have with your child, the better impact we will make. |
